please can anyone help?
i will shortly be going to the usa and was considering purchasing a playstation 2.can anybody inform me if the 2 has dual voltage capability(110/240)?
can usa games be played on the uk machine or does this require chipping?
if the usa playstation machine can be used in the uk can uk games be played on it without being chipped?
any info would be really appreciated.
thanks!
there are some places you can get these from.
If you want to play US and UK games you'd need to get it chipped and at the mo chipping is still a bit dodgy as people like EA are stopping there games working on some chipped PS2's.
Only get a US machine if you know your gonna want to play US games only. If you go to the US or know a cheap importer then it might be worth it otherwise don't get a uk machine instead.
I'm thinking about getting an imported GC but not yet as i want to upgrade my TV first so i don't have to fork out for NTSC converters.
Ah thats another prob to US machines require an NTSC compatible tv to.
hope that helps.
