Is there any way that you could increase the banner limit for the banner contest (EE GAD Feb)??
Perhaps increase it to around 25/30 kb instead of 15!
I have spent a long time making banners but cannot make a decent one under 25k!
I obviously can use jpegs in animation shop but it makes the image a much lower quality and I don't think SR wants pixelly banners that look worse than the first quake game!
If anyone else feels that the limit should be exceeded please says here and Snuggly may give in.

how unfair will that be to those who've kept to the limit if you can make better ones now?
And anyway, some of us here don't have cable and don't like sitting waiting for a 15.8mb banner to load.

There is still ages left til lthe competition deadline and I stated by a sensible amount (eg 25/30 kbs)
There are plenty of image optimisation programs out there that will do a great job of putting the banners under the 15k limit without making them look rubbish.
I managed to get every single one of Hercules' banners under 15k using an image optimization program, and an online animation optimization program.

I don't see how most of those can be over the limit.
There doesn't seem to be THAT much colour in them, and you've not made more than 4 different screens on any... hmmm...
Some of mine are a lot more detailed (although probably not better :-D), and still fit in.
