Mario, everyone who is involved in gaming knows his name and knows what he has done. Probably the first popular character the industry ever had and he is still around and full of life today. This post is designed to be funny, lets just hope it is.
To celebrate this Nintendo decided to celebrate by throwing a big party in aide of everything Mario has done for them.Nintendo decided to also run a competition to allow one lucky fan and a guest of their choice to win a ticket to the event. Thousands entered, the aim was to write what Mario and Nintendo have done for you. The winner was a young male by the name of Rasta with his entry entitled "Nintendo rules!", it was a short essay, two sentences long infact. It read
Mario is a cool guy, I like him. I also like Nintendo too.
Rasta sat at home, the phone rang but he was busy playing perfect dark, his mother shouted at him to pick it up but he refused. Eventually he picked it up and was greated by a strange sounding man.
"Hallo, I am Shigsy and you son hav won competition. Tickets and rules come in post. Ha so, I see you soon.Bye bye"
In a state of shock he pressumed it was a wind up. That was until the letter arrived the next day.
To his surprise the event was the next day, he quickly e-mailed Gaz who he decided would be the best person to take as he wasn't gaming mad. They flew out that night and were treated to the full VIP treatment. The party started, as all parties do, with a bang. On the door was bowser and donkey kong. If you weren't on the list you don't get in and they made sure of it.
Rasta and Gaz sat down at their table, only a few away from Mario.
"Oh look Gaz, he is so close I can smell him."
Gaz found the party a bit odd. To many strange looking people, "I hate pokemon, why me Rasta, why me?"
But rasta was busy, he had spotted Joanna Dark and was already trying to fire in. "I love your games, I love you, err I mean you are hot, em no emm fancy a dance?"
As all this was going on Luigi made his way to the stage and revealed a huge pizza with candles, Mario made his way to blow out the candles but before he could Shigsy walked out. The room filled with silence. Not only the great one Mario was there but now the big man Shigsy had appeared too.
But before he could speak, Donkey kong ran in the room, He began to shout. "Help me, it's sn-n-n-n-n-n ....." He then fell to the floor. A knife was sticking in his back. Chaos errupted, people trying to hide under tables, Rasta and Gaz weren't sure what was going on. Rasta looked around when suddenly. SPEAR!
Rasta shot back several feet and was knocked out cold, Gaz looked amazed as before him stood Ant. "What are you doing here?"
"Well Gaz my friend, we have waited for this for too long. Since you informed me of this party myself and a few 'special' friends decided to pay you all a visit."
"Who you here with?" asked Gaz, it was then that Solid Snake crashed through a window and unloaded a clip of ammo into Shigsy. Shigsy began to fall towards the floor, as he crashed to the ground his mask fell off. Shigsy wasn't Shigsy! "My god, it's Bill Gates!" Screamed Gaz.
The Nintendo characters couldn't believe what was going on. Mario was crying his eyes out and nobody knew what was going on. "Oh well it's his party and he will cry if he wants too" laughed Ant.
Ant took the stage and grabbed the mic. "If you smell-l-l-l-l-l la la la what Ant is cookin'"
"ANT!" shouted Rasta as he picked himself of the floor.
"Opps got side tracked there.It appears Microsoft have tried to destroy the gaming world, we couldn't tell anyone but it appears Rasta is the future of gaming. This party was designed to kill not only all things Nintendo but also Rasta too. There is a bomb in the building, we got rid of it and found shigsy tied up in a cupboard. We also discovered Donkey kong and Bowser were working for Microsoft, but as you know this is no longer. All that is left is to discover exactly what it is that Rasta has that we need."
Rasta took to the stage. "Well thanks for the pary, sure was different. Looks like something big went down and I give my thanks to Ant and Solid Snake. My future plan is this Nintendo and Sony work together. I also have another idea but that will cost you."
Ant, Gaz and Rasta were welcomed into the Gaming industry with arms opened, sadly Gaz tolded them were to stick it as he didin't want any more chaos like this and went home to watch LA Confidential.
So it is here we leave the party. But who knows what will happen next??
