Buffy The Vampire Slayer is to be released on the X-Box. Some of the screens shown look amazing, with beautiful light effects and a brilliant character model of Buffy. Aside from a few jagged edges, it looks brill! Apparently during the game her ponytail sways about, as a testament to how much detail is in this game!
Knockout Kings 2002 for the X Box is looking good, with some new features that are yet to be seen in boxing games. There will be an 8-man tournament, accompanied by a bouncy hip-hop track, 10 boxing arenas and a flurry of characters. If you've seen the pictures released, the first thing you are likely to notice is the attention to detail of the characters and environments. There is even sweat coming off of their bodies! Another decent feature is the crowd, they look so realistic, which is a rarity in games.
We all know that Turok: Evolution is going to be special, but Acclaim and it's 35-man team really HAVE gone that bit further to succeed where the previous incarnations failed. Firstly, an entirely original weapons system has been introduced. You can upgrade weapons, but as they upgrade, they change to other weapons. For instance, you can 'transform' a Pistol into a Sniper Rifle. Also, the areas are more interactive, with trees and vegetation that is begging to be shot down.

Universal Interactive announced today that it's signed a deal with Marvel Enterprises, Inc. for the rights to make videogames based on the Incredible Hulk.
Robotech, a game which is inevitably about Robots, is due for release on the X Box soon. It looks great and the graphics are somewhat reminiscent of a hollywood movie.
That's all for today's news report on the X Box. Next report should be up in a few days-a week.

Shrek for the X Box is looking very impressive indeed. Boasting a high polygon count that takes full advantage of the outstanding graphics capabilities of X Box along with four worlds, 12 levels, and 36 missions provide over 80 hours of gameplay. A feature that is quite the rarity these days is the beautiful real-time rendered cut scenes that open each mission. Shrek is looking very impressive and it could be mistaken for the film itself!
4X4 Pro 2 is shaping up to be possible THE most photo-realistic 4x4 game ever! The screenshots look like a camera still from real life, they are THAT impressive. Utilising the 'XChip', they can pull a higher polygon count and improve the graphics, hence the former statement. The game features over 70 vehicles and numerous tracks to flaunt your glory on. I hope that this makes it to the top, like it appears it deserves.
Airforce Delta Storm looks to be the Banshee of the new millenium, with amazing graphics and everything overall sounds great about this game. With over 50 levels to battle through, it's surely another great game to add to the X Box catalogue.

CompUSA are holding a competition in Washington to see who the best gamer in America is. Some of the games announced to be on hand are Super Smash Bros Meele (GameCube), Counterstrike (PC), Halo (X Box) and GT3: A Spec (PS2).
More news has been uncovered about 007: Agent Under Fire. Apparently the gameplay has remained untouched, but the polygon count has been upped a little and the overall look made sleeker. It will have to compete with the GameCube version, which is apparently literally identical aswell.
Triple Play 2002 is the first game to undergo special needs for a new level of realism. 'Photoscanning' is being used to make the players look the most realistic possible.
That's all for this time. More next 'issue'...
Moto GP is due for release on the X Box soon in America. Climax, behind many racing games on the PSX, will be commanding Moto GP all the way. The game features over 10 real world tracks and authentic bikes and riders from the Moto GP Championships. Also, it's based on the 2001 Moto GP season and has an option to develop and customize riders by earning experience points. To add to the mayhem, there is split-screen four player racing, which looks very exciting indeed.
Electronic Arts have nearly finished work on 007: Agent Under Fire to be released on the X Box soon. At the moment, there is no information of any extra features, and it looks like it's going to be a straight port.
Let's face it, golf games are boring to your everyday player, but Simon and Schuster Interactive have found a way to spruce it up, with Outlaw Golf. In Outlaw Golf, you are able to basically beat the snot out of your opponent until you heart's content. There goes the nine-iron!
Tidbits
The makers behind Circus Maximus are planning to create a game named 'Daredevil', which will obviously feature the devil. Details are slim, but watch this space!
ESPN International Winter Sports 2002, Genma Onimusha, ESPN NFL Prime Time 2002, ESPN Winter X Games Snowboarding and NBA Inside Drive 2002 are all just about to be released in America.
That's all for this edition.

I took the news from IGN and put it into my own words, so your comment was fair enough.
