Having only just finished Conker's Bad Fur Day, and seen it in it's full glory, I now ask what's next for the poor little squirrel?

No doubt we'll see him again on the Gamecube, and we can expect a few more film spoofs too.

Given that the title might be "Grabbed by the Ghoulies" we could be lucky enough to find ourselves in a game that's spoofing the horror genre.

Given the nature of the ending to CBFD, I think it would be cool if we had a bit of a 'Pet Cemetary' thing going on, with Conker burying his lost companion in the hallowed soil to tryo to bring them back to life. No doubt it would all go wrong, and Conker would bring all of the dead back to life.

Alternatively Conker could try to change the events of the past in a Back to the Future style. That would be cool. Conker with the Delorean, visiting the end sequence of the game to try to change events.

Given that the sequel would be on Gamecube they could go back to a time when graphics weren't quite so good!

I think that more horror spoofs would be hilarious. Imagine Conker with a chainsaw for a hand, á la Evil Dead. Or taking on any number of those classic horror bad guys, like Freddy Kruger, Jason Vorhees, or Michael Myers.

Of course, given it's immense popularity Star Wars is always a target for a spoof. Could we see a light saber wielding Conker in the future?

As you can see from my babblings the series has a great deal of potential. Hopefully Rare too will see this, and give up another Conker game a few years into the Gamecube's existence.

You'd think that Berri and the Sqirrel Soldiers would've stocked up of tails before joining the army/mob.

Perhaps they're still negotiating with Greg and Conker only THINK's their dead.

They'll wake up expecting to find him king and then have a huge go at him for losing the throne within a day! :-D

Rumour has it that we may see the sequel a bit earlier than a few years away!
