Ive got a few questions and i would really appreciate some help. Background: I have a website setup allready and have bought some other domain names that i want to redirect to this original website. Here goes,
1. How do i access the FTP on the domains i bought (to upload a HTML file to do the redirect). Im reading about a Freeola Connection - but dont understand it. Why cant i just connect using my own connection? What is the Freeola Connection? Its dial up right? How much does it cost? How do Freeola justify charging me to access my FTP (assuming this is correct)?
2. I recently bought another domain yesterday, and got a confirmation email telling me Freeola would setup the site and email me. 24 hours later ive got nothing. Is all OK or am i just being impatient?
Thanks for any help!
"The Freeola Web Freedom Service allows you upload to your unlimited webspace from ANY internet connection WORLDWIDE for £3.00 (plus VAT) per month (charged quarterly).
This service is provided on a per 'webspace' basis. This means that you can upload for all your domains that share the same webspace folder."
The grammatical errors above are pasted from freeola.com :¬P

Thanks for the response. I thought as much - unfortunately. I never remeber seeing "Free unlimited webspace - but oh yeh we'll charge you to access it"... Im very disappointed by this, and 1&1 is looking more and more appealing.
Anyway, im thinking of using website freedom for a month to access these accounts. How is this done? I mean, for that month will my ISP be Freeola, or is it just a setting their side that allows me access from any ISP? Also, do you know if there is a minimum term, if it is direct debit / one off payment and if i can access all of my webspaces's using the one webspace connection?

Got a second email today (still waiting for one more) but all seems to be working now. I can see the address and everything.
Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
I've tried to answer your questions, please see below:

You can either connect via any Freeola connection:
ADSL: from £19.99 pm
Dial-up: 0845 local call charges or Freeola 'anytime' £13.99 pm
Or you can sign up to Freeola 'Web Freedom' - £3+VAT pm.

Have you tried logging in to your MyFreeola account? You will see a message if your domain is ready. Your email may have gone missing as normally this is all very quick.
Hope this helps...
