Who is going to get a Playstation 2 I will get one and I advise you to get one when the Gamecube and X Box come out because then Playstation 2 have to drop there prices or they will not sell.
Why hae you made two topics on virtually the same subject? One would have done. Anyway, I think most people on here already have one, after all it is almost 15 months after the release date.

Don't expect the PS2 price to drop until Autumn next year...
Seeing as a vast majority of games sales occur at Christmas, and that Sony has a strong brandname, excellent games library, and a price to match the GC and beat the Xbox, then there's no point in them lowering the price.

Ok thanks for the advice. I wont take it as I already have a PS2. I dont think the PS2 will drop down in price. The PS2 is still $299.99 in America. I cant see the price dropping in Europe with out the American price dropping first.
