It also had a background editing tool and you could change the colours or use beautifully designed backgroung art that was already on the gameboy The bad thing was you couldn't save your backgrounds so if you did a really good one it would get lost as soon as you change game!
The other good thing was it was easy to use! All you had to do was place the cart in the slot and turn on your SNES! It was easier to conrol than the old bulky gameboy and much clearer than the oldark green and black screen.
The best thing is the fact that new games are also compatable with it too, even though the SNES has been considered obsolete for a few years now. I've got Dragon Warrior monsters and that will play on it with excellent backgrounds, Wario land 2 (color version) which also has excellent backgrounds. And the Pokémon games. Red, Blue and Yellow all have specially designed features for the super gameboy. In fact they are in full colour!
The Super Gameboy was created on the best console ever made though so it did have an added boost. All my friends keep asking me if I'm going ot sell it cos they want it for their SNES's. I'm not going to though!
If you've got a SNES and you are looking for a second hand cart get the Super Gameboy! Loads of games coming out for it, loads of games already out for it so it's perfect!
