GameSpot has learned that THQ plans to release WWF Wrestlemania for the Nintendo GameCube this summer. The game could be ready for release as early as June. For its part, THQ has not pinned down an official release schedule for the game, only saying that it will arrive sometime in 2002. In addition to the obvious visual enhancements planned, WWF Wrestlemania will also introduce an entirely new control system.
Hope they don't change the control system too much...it was pretty good as it was...

The GBA game 'Road to Wrestlemania' is a so called 'add-on' for the WWF Gamecube game: It would only make sense to call the Gamecube version 'Wrestlemania'.

There havent been any screenshots released so I wouldnt expect a June release. A new control system would have to be introduced as of the new Gamecube controler.
i heard that the wwf gamecube game was gonna be called summerslam. Wrestlemania is a bit unoriginal for a game title as there has already been two of them.
Ah, good news, NGC are saying as early as December but if it was as early as June then that would be an added bonus. Good stuff.
