And aquired a copy of the Two towers on DVD, a copy of the Acadamey awards 'For Consideration' Version

But it won't play on my Xbox.

Would DVD Region X sort this for me, or will I just have to watch it on my PC until the proper version comes out so I can buy it, I'll buy the extended edition anyway.

Chances are, you haven't got a DVD version of it. I'd be 98% sure you've got a VCD (Video CD) instead.

This will never play on your Xbox unless you have it chipped and install the Xbox Media Player, although I don't recommend this.

So, enjoy playing it on your PC.

Well yes and no.

My PC DVD player does support all regions, but, you have to change its configuration to do so, and you can only change it five times (bah), but I put the disc in and it played no problem, without having to shange aqnything.

Guess its a region 2 one then
