So yet another manager bites the dust. This time its Colin Todd of Derby. Apparently the name in the frame is Ravenelli. A striker with a limited knowledge of English, a fierce temper and no management experience. What is going on? Todd got about 3 months in the job before they kicked him out. That's not enough time to do anything.
Plus, managers are a funny breed to start with. Not sure who said this, but they are exactly right:
Can you think of any other industry where shop floor workers with no other qualifications are promoted to management? And if that manager fails, they are sacked, only to be taken on by a competitor in the hope that they will be able to do better there!
What do you reckon, is it stupid that a manager who has failed in just about every job, should be offered more jobs?
