Only by a few days though, just received this e-mail
'Due to massive volumes expected within the UK, the shipment of the
FREELOADER product will be delayed until Wednesday/Thursday this week to
allow time for us to produce enough units to to satisfy day one demand.'
We have been assured that there is no problem with the product but that it
is taking longer to produce the amount required than first anticipated. It
seems Datel don't want some outlets getting product before others so they
are waiting until they are ready before despatching. At least this will
make sure that when product is finally ready that it is actually available
(unlike GTA Vice City for instance).
We will continue to keep in touch with Datel until we have confirmation of
the shipment, and we will of course keep you fully informed as to its
progress.
We are as hopeful as you that they will be ready tomorrow but please be
assured that Datel have committed they will ship all product out on the
same day in the Uk, so this delay effects everyone.
As always, our commitment is to ship all orders the same day we receive
product.

Now, I like playing games on my cube, but I have to say that, while some titles have been eagerly anticipated, none have been to such an extent that I would go through all the hassle of importing and buying add-ons and crap just to play things a little earlier (or at all in some cases).

The release date is apparently the 7th of Feb, which is this Friday so heres hopin'
Action Replay can do the same stuff and thats out next week (apparantly).
