Anyone seen any reviews or any new info on the latest motorbike game from Namco? There is a bit of info on ign.com. It is due out in Japan this months and here in March.
Has it been covered in PSM2 or PSW recently ?

found a site that still allows you to enter Moto GP1 times (don't tell Namco !)

www.motogp-game.com

All instructions on how to display your time code etc on on the site.

Some of those Japanese are mighty quick, let me know how you get on and post some times here.

This site is still running for Moto GP2 (only until Moto GP3 comes out in Japan on 27th Feb)

1) What's the website, I'm sure I can beat a time on the site. You dont seem to get any codes on the game though. :S

2) Not a typing error, but it was only Sunderland.

2) Crystal Palace. :P

Meant to say Nat, are any of your times good enough to get in the top 200 on the official website ? (I haven't got Moto GP2 and the Moto GP1 site is locked, you cannot enter any times on it once the newer game is released in japan which is a bit harsh)

There is massive preview on PSW's disk this month. You can choose five of the new tracks and view a 1 lap replay of each. I have both the previous ones and this one looks alot better. It's the PSW with Sam Fisher on the front.

I bought Riding Spirits about 3 weeks ago (it's only £18 from p**y.com by the way).
It is the closest you will get to GT3 on two wheels, not quite as arcadey as the Moto GP games but a bit more realistic (difficult) it will provide a good long term challenge though.

By the way SSX, you can see how your Moto GP times compare by visiting www.mototgp-game.com - 99% of the top 200 times are Japanese and are very quick.

To be honest, I have enough bike games really. Moto GP and Extreme G3 are enough for me. They really are quite fun to play after you haven`t tried them after a while.

Burnout 2 constantly for weeks >>>> Then Moto GP

I couldn`t stay on the course! I had to use the brake! lol! It was really weird!

Wipeout Fusion for weeks >>>> Extreme G3

Where are my weapons? Help! Also very hard to control after such a different experience.

It was quite funny, during my exams, I saw an absolutely awful program called "LAN JAM". It really was terrible, their reviews were even worse than mine, and the games players were rubbish (though I guess its all that "by kids, for kids" stuff that goes around these days). Anyway, they were playing Moto GP 2, and that was what actually prompted me to give Moto GP a go. My first lap made me want to take back my comments - I was like them, off at every corner, and unable to stay ahead of the competition.

After a lap though it became more familiar, but still, I felt kinda stupid :D

If you get bored waiting there's always Riding Spirits. Heard a lot of negatives about it (because it's hard, apparently) but being a bike fan I'm still tempted.

SSX, I think they leave about 12-15 months between games, not as bad as Core was with Tomb Raider !
