For me, it was the idea that you became a millionare by making a Web Site :o)
the buzz of making something work for the first time.
...and this was what i was talking about,
http://huw41.tripod.com/navbox/test
- after innumerable problems, which eventually came down to about 3 screw ups in the coding (one of which i blame on my deciding to do half of this after getting back from the pub last night : ) ), finally making the thing do what i wanted it to, to the point where i just need to adjust the color (must get used to u.s. spelling!) scheme, add links and tidy up images, for the thing to be ready for my site.
Sorry, just had to bathe in the smug feeling of having done it. : )
Actually, the dynamic menu for WebTech worked first time, until I decided to make it "better" :)

I was actually referring to the total scope of a web based project!!

Yeh. It's great when something actually works ;)
Especially for the first time...
I had an idea that i wanted to put on the web. I got hold of a cheap wysiwyg package, which didin't work right, and here i am.
I stayed because i love the mix of artistic creation and building something with code, and for the buzz of making something work for the first time.
