I've seen the PS2 running on my mates 22" monitor, it doesnt look as good as a PS2 connected via an RGB cable.

Sorry, not out of the box, you have to by a HDTV cable kit for the Xbox.

Well, that's not strictly true now is it.......

As the Xbox supports HDTV out of the box, then it will be capable of hooking up to these TVs. Now considering most of these TVs use a monitor standard, then they are strictly monitors. They use the XGA standard, however, and not the SVGA standard implemented by PCs. Some high end PC graphics cards have digital outputs for these monitor/tv thingys, but as of yet they aren't all that mainstream.

Once the PS2 goes online, apparently Sony will release an XGA cable for hooking up to these monitors too.

Well no, as its a CONSOLE not a PC. Any games console can link up to a monitor. In my experience with it TV's look better for consoles. It would work on a monitor if you buy a adaptor, but you cant just plug it in to the monitor.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
