good. although people who have the 1.4 version and animal crossing claim it works fine.. the main reason for me getting an import player is for animal crossing.

It's no different.
Hopefully it will have the 1.6 version which has sorted some of the problems experienced with the 1.4 version... as action replay is being dispached a week later than freeloader.. they will recall the dodgy ones and replace them with the newer versions.
