I'm sorry if i got your hopes up there!!! But I’m trying to fined out my self is there going to be a third destruction derby on the PS2 or something?

The closest you'll get is Crashed (aka Totaled!)developed by Rage Software which got panned by reviewers when it was released on the XBox. The PS2 version might be sometime around May/June, then again it may get pushed back to Christmas.

The original DD developers (Psygnosis) were bought up in Europe by Eidos, and their US based operations merged into Sony. They now operate as Studio Liverpool and recently brought out Wipeout Fusion. There is no word at all of a Destruction Derby sequel for the PS2.
