If you want to play FPS games with friends, you better have a console.

I`d go with TimeSplitters 2 to be honest. Most reviews I`ve seen rate it higher than other FPS games, and I know I certainly do as well. I only had one problem with it - it has far less statistics than the original TimeSplitters when you finish a round, which is annoying, but apart from that, great stuff.

NO-ONE LIVES FOREVER

Pros- Funny, action packed.
Cons- Looks dreadful, few thrills.

Overall- Fun if you like FPS's, but avoid otherwise.

STAR TREK: ELITE FORCES

Pros- The best Star Trek game ever, the first level is amazing.
Cons- Looks poor, not a patch on the PC version, over waaaay to quickly.

OVerall- Buy the PC version. It's better and about 1/3 the price.

BUY- No-one Lives forever if you want PS2 gaming, otherwise buy ST: EF on PC.

I was a little dissapointed with TS2 one player with the only up to golden-eye-standard level was the first. Half-life i really enjoyed but for most it was a case of been there done that. Turok was really good in the jungle levels then pants from there on end.

I'm gonna go down to woolworths soon and get no one lives for ever and star treck elite force for £30 if i can, any pros or cons for me please?

For single player I prefer TimeSplitters 2 over MOH: Frontline. Most favourite of all so far, despite it being a Third person shooter (effectively) is MGS2.

It depends what you want.

For mostly multi-player thrills but still anm alright 1-player it's Timsplitters 2.

For a brilliant 1-player it's MOH: Frontline

Simple as that, really - all the other FPS's are no where near these two.

For me it's a choice between MOH:Frontline and Timesplitters 2. Also Ghost Recon is pretty good as well but then again i do like those slow strategic shooters and not just run in a room, get shot in the head about 50 times and still manage to kill everyone in there and move on to the next room
