Nearly everyone says that Advance Wars for the GBA is great, and I know it's a war strategy game, but what type?
Is it like Command and Conquer with real time missions, or is it turn based like Civilization for the PC.

Advance Wars is quite similar to the game Battle Isles if you've ever played that on the PC.
The way the game works is, you take turns to move your pieces, and if you move a piece next to your opponents piece then you can attack it. Once you've moved all your pieces it's your opponents turn.

Dont quote me on this but i think the battles are like final fantasy, where the fights arent in real time.
