No most have testing agencies, who have a team of testers and have certain games taken to them, there may be free-lancers, but i would suspect unless you mean contractors there pretty rare as companies dont want any of there preciosu game's info leakign out

Dont they have free-lance testers? Who are no employed by only one company, but instead go around many different ones.

Nope, but e-mail them on the web or ask if they know anywhere that does that. Naughty Dog are normally open for games testers.

I phoned those numbers, but no one seems to do testing in house, do u have any numbers for games testing companies?

More likely that you'll have needed to write for a school magazine or a local paper, but it wouldn't hurt to ask one of them if you could hang around and watch what they do.

Game magazines thats what I want to do. In one issue of PSi2 they had a great feature on it and it made up my mind, thats what I want to do.

Thats what is great about SR (as well as GAD and other people with the same interests) its all practice. Every review you write, your gaining experience. I have written 52 so thats quite a lot of practice. Since I have joined my English has improved a lot, and so has my game and DVd collection.

Im interested in going into the journalism side of gaming, and most of the information i read says that some sort of experience is needed, do you think that getting some experience at one of these places in the hols would help?
