Hi, I'm on holiday in the USA and have my gamecube with me- I have been using it mainly in NZ. Here in the USA, I can get a picture using the supplied cable into a video input on the TV, but only in monochrome... is there a way to get colour, or is this a problem using a UK gamecube on an NTSC TV...???

If you can get hold of a PAL to NTSC signal converter, then run the cube into that, then into the tv, it'll work fine.
That or get hold of a tv that supports a pal signal.

Or go see some of america instead of playing games all day ;^)

In New Zealand, did you need a socket adapter to plug uk (3 pin) stuff in?

Yeah you'll need an RGB cable or soemthing like that.

One question, why on earth have you taken your Gamecube on holiday to America?

I could understand if you where in Brighton or Skegness, but America?

It's not like there's nothing to do over there.

UK Gamecubes are produced to work on PAL format televisions...I'm suprised you actually got any response at all on an NTSC one O_o

You probably need some sort of SCART lead.

:)
