thats right GTA3 on the GC is looking likley, we get all the Ninty games and when i said the best Playstation ones i meant it.
OK so PGC i saying it from a magazine but it could also sway the other way rumours suggest GTA3,4,5 etc... being PS2 exclsuive! No X-box news and GBA being canned rumours might see this as being correct...

TBN if i want to play on a PS2 i will, i play GTA3 and DMC round my friends house all the time but i'd still rather play Skies of Arcadia and Shenmue.

YES GC games will be made for 7-8 years next Nintendo console about 5 years, its how nintendo do things.

Nobody thought that GameCube would be out anytime before June at the earliest predicting all the delays, yet Nintendo have hinted that it could be released at the end of February!
Don't take anything for granted in the gaming universe!

Seriously though, I don't give it more than 5 years at best. A lot may depends on Sony's Playstation 3, when that's out in x years time (which is gonna be less than 8).
How long was the N64 around for? Was is march 96 or 97 it was released? Either way you can't say it lasted more than 5 years, abosolute tops - and that's when it was the only realistic alternative in a two console race. With three in the next round, and assuming no early drop outs, I can't see the lifespan extending by 60%.
Unless of course, we reach that fabled point where nobody really cares about the slight imporvement in visuals in the next console up?

I've heard that Grand Theft Auto 3 will possibly come to GameCube (still a rumour) but another rumour is that the Game By Advanced version will be cancelled.
