Does anyone still play on the amiga.I mean i don't anymore because i've got a PC & a playstation .I was still on it a couple of years ago though.They had some great games for it.They should bring some of them back from the dead.The turtles game always used to be fun.Trying to kill Shredder and his men.Who agrees the games should be brought back.So i thought i had to say something about the old computers
The Amiga 500 was my second computer, now I tend to only play with my PC and N64, and the latter doesn't get much of my time due to the price of games. And yet having these great new toys I often find myself missing the Amiga. The days of playing Sensible Soccer with my brother (did anyone else notice that it was much smoother on the Amiga than the PC?) Fighting over the mouse with him during the more painful moments of the many great manager sims. And I'll never forget my first try at Sid Meier's master piece, Civilisation. With a little help from my brother I built my space ship before anyone else could and won the game. I spend the better half of a year getting great at that game, and I was sad to leave it behind me when the Amiga died. Change is hard, but in this case it also brings much joy! After years of not playing I bought Civ for my PC, it didn't seem quite as good, but it was still better than any other game. After that I went out and bought the great Civ 2, improved graphics and extra options were enough to keep me happy. But nothing prepared me for the joy I felt with the release of CivNet. The weekend after I got this unbelievable game was spent playing it again my friend who bought it at the same time as me. It was the most fun I'd had with a computer, and the rest of my life was once again, put on hold. I read on this board that most people think Perfect Dark is the best game for multi-player fun, all I can say to that is, give me a copy of CivNet any day over the graphics and gory fun of running around shooting the people I know, I'd rather crush their empire with my own!
