I wasn’t too sure about the single-player mode, seeing as there are a lot of racing games out there that just put you on a track and make you race. But I did have a lot of multi-player mode ideas, which isn’t all that surprising. Now, you may call me childish, but I do still like to watch Robot Wars, although it is getting a bit lame. But the whole concept of Robot Wars is just amazing, and could be included in this game. No, you won’t have weapons, but the idea is to “kill” your opponents’ cars. It may sound a bit boring, but if ever the game was to be made and the developers actually thought about this mode’s arenas or areas, it could be really good. In the multi-player mode, you can either nock your opponents off of the platform, or you can damage them until their damage meter is full. So, here are a few arenas or areas that I thought of.
PlayStation 2/GameCube disk – Yeah, that’s right, a game disk. But give me a chance to explain. You and about 7 other mini RC cars drive around on this disk, trying to knock each other off the edge of the disk, or down the whole in the middle. The GameCube disk could be chosen for the “expert level”, seeing as it’s a lot smaller. Ingenious, if I do say so myself.
A Wok – Like someone mentioned before, put two of the little cars into a wok and you’ve got yourself one hell of a laugh. So with about 8 cars in a wok at the same time, anything is possible. Not only can you get pushed out of the wok, you can get flipped if you go up the side of the wok and your cars weight turns against you.
A Drinks Coaster – Similar to the game disk, but with no whole in the middle and lots of sticky bits of fizzy drink on it. Your car gets damaged when it goes in the sticky bits, and also gets stuck for a few seconds.
An X-Box – For beginners really. A huge surface area and all you have to do is avoid the logo in the middle. An area just to get you used to this mode.
That’s one of the multi-player modes I thought of, but the single player mode would be similar. Like Mario Party games, this game wouldn’t see you racing around tracks, but you would have to take part in mini-games, like the ones I have mentioned above. But this would be a bit boring on it’s own, so I think you should be able to design your own car and as you win battles on the single player mode, you earn coins to spend on your car. So here’s what I thought you would have to upgrade and select when making your car.
Chassis – The most important part of the car, this is where it all starts. There could maybe be around 3 different types of chassis to choose from, long and heavy, medium, or short and light. This would allow you to have a longer or shorter car, but then having either the advantage on some arenas of being heavier and slower or lighter and faster.
Shell – It may not be the most important part of a car, but you don’t want to go around driving a Metro now, do we? Firstly you would have to select the shape of the frame. I was thinking of the shapes to be from Boy Racers to Formula 1 cars, meaning that you could get something that you at least liked a little. But even if you don’t like the shape too much, you can change the colour of the shell, as well as putting numerous stickers on the shell.
Motor – Like the chassis, having a more powerful motor will result in your car weighing more. So you can either buy a brand new motor, or if you’re a bit short of money, you can upgrade your motor instead.
Radio Gear – Servos, receivers and battery packs are really important with remote control cars, and this is why you need to get some good ones. Servos are what turn the wheels on the car, so you’ll need to buy better servos as you go along allowing for more control over your car. But if you don’t have a good receiver, then your car won’t be very responsive because of the bad signal. Battery packs are needed so that your car will last longer, so these are pretty important if you take your time finishing off an opponent.
As I have already said, the single-player mode will see you battling it out with other CPU cars. But like many other games, I think some levels should have bosses, or cars that are a lot better than the rest. Beating these bosses would award you more coins, and could unlock you more items to buy when upgrading your car. Playing the multi-player mode with your friends and giving them a good match would also award you with coins, like on Super Smash Bros. Melee.
In the multi-player mode, you could also import your car(s) from the single-player mode to battle it out against your friends. So if they’ve been lording it up at school, there’s no excuse if they use their car and lose against you. But back on the secrets part of the game, I think there should be around the same amount of arenas to unlock, as there are to start off with. Not only this, but I think you should unlock certain cars to use, say the cars you just beat in a single-player battle.
Not only having the option to unlock areas, but nowadays, you have to be able to make your own places. I think this mode should be really good, seeing as you wouldn’t need all that many items for it to be good. First off, you set the arena size, and then you can put holes in it or just put items on the top of it. You should get to colour in the arena, putting stickers and other stuff all over it.
Well, that’s all my ideas gone, but I’m sure you lot can think of a lot. Oh, and the reason for me not putting this in the Game Ideas forum is that it would go unseen, so I put it in here instead.
*Points* Mr. Snuggly's AA card. Hur hur.

Yeah! And On "Master Level" the disk(s) could be spinning, therefore throwing your car off track! Good Post...
Shirley worth a GAD just for that. Didn't read the post. Too long.
> hahahah. Monker. The greatest unintenional word ever spoken on SR.
:D
And the thing is, R isn't right next to Y, there's a bloomin' T in the way. My typing has gone down a very steep hill in a very short space of time.

Hey, thanks mate. There's this smart kid who's in a lot of my classes and he's got a car that he ordered from Japan for £20 and you charge it for 2 minutes, and it lasts for 20! Going back to the game ideas, i really would enjoy a game like this, although there would have to be a racing part to the game, seeing that this is a very popular genre. The thing is, "monker fight" from SMB and the Robot Wars game were really good, but Robot Wars was too short and monkey fight didn't vary at all. But the idea of monkey fight and Robot Wars is just amazing, all though monkey fight isn't all that original.
;)
I fact I like them so much that I'm contemplating building a circuit to race the on out of a bit of ply board. So, maybe a game like this would save me some time!
:)
But imagine selling a broken car to a kid.
:) (again)

What a plan. Oh, and you sound like that HSA advert, damn that advert!
