It regularly pulls in 16million viewers a week making it the most watched program British TV. But how about taking it one step further and have Eastenders the game? At the beginning of the game you would get the choice of a character from one of the families, so you could play Lynn, Doc Truman, Robbie, Pauline Fowler, Peggy Mitchell, Ian Beale, or Spencer. Depending on which character you choose you'll be whisked into a story line not yet seen on TV where your task will be to investigate a 'who dunnit' in order to complete that story line. Every character will have their own strengths and weaknesses as they do on the show itself, so for example if you manage to unlock Phil Mitchell, you'll have the increased ability to intimidate others to get the information you require. If you play Sonja, she should be a poor student but will always have money somewhere (well....I mean shes got a Mobile Phone, a Laptop, the internet, she eats in the cafe a lot, shes always wearing new clothes etc)

For every story line that is completed, you will unlock another member of that family, so for example if you complete a story line with Robbie, you unlock Sonja. Complete a story line with Sonja, you unlock Jim and so on. The story lines will be of a similar nature to what you'd expect to find on the TV such as so and so is pregnant, go and investigate who put the bun in the oven, or someone has bought a share in the Queen Vic, find out who it is....but they WON'T go as silly as Well 'Ards pregnant, find out who's slept with a dog....as the choice would be too big...Gary, Phil, Ricky, Roy, Barry, Robbie....the list goes on.

To complete a storyline you will have the ability to roam around Albert Square and interact with other characters, but each character will react to the character your playing in accordance with their current relationship on TV (I.E if your playing Laura, don't expect Ian to give you much help etc). You will have the ability to go into the Snooker Club, The E20, The Queen Vic, the cafe, the Launderette, as well as being able to walk freely through the railway station, park and market. Undoubtedly there will always be another character trying to scarper your attempt to find out some information that will prove useful so you need to be sceptical and look out for the red herrings and also not be led astray by characters trying to get you into dealings that could land you in hot water with the police or your partner in the game.

Once all the characters have been unlocked there will be a one big storyline for you to try and complete where you can choose any character to try and help you get that important info to complete the final 'who dunnit'. The game will take a kind of Broken Sword feel and if licensed will have the sound bytes of the real characters voices, so you can hear things like the all important "Ant-nee" - From Zoe/Kat Slater, and the "Us Mitchells don't let anyone walk over us....oh-h-h-h-h no" from Peggy, giving the game more realism (If thats possible from a drama turned game?!?).

Now I can hear some of you saying that, that idea would be too big for a game, so there is another solution! Now how many times have you wanted to shut the Slaters up or stand up to Phil and give him a piece of your mind, well if Midway can do Mortal Kombat, why not Eastender Kombat. The stage will be set for you to choose any character from the cast again each will have their own special weapons, Kat with her loud shout will floor you, Peggys hair will unravel to whip you, Ian will always have a Cod in his pocket ready to slap you in the face, and Pat will have her lethal boomerang Ear Rings.

You will climb the ladder beating opponents one on one to start of with before moving on to the family battles. The 2 on 1 Kombats. Here you will have to face 2 people from one family to proceed. So you may have been able to beat up just Kat, but can you beat Kat and Zoe, or Lynn and Gary, or the Doc and Paul Truman? If you manage this amazing feat you will be taken to the penultimate end of game boss of Phil Mitchell where you will have to dodge bullets, flying fists and empty threats. If you survive his dry wit and ever growing waistband then you will go on to fight the legend that is Dirty Den...then only and only then, when you beat him, shall you be crowed the Lord of Albert Square....Fight!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
