The part where the building with all the tapes gets burned down and every taped episode ever spontaneously combusts, and all trace of it is wiped from the planet.

Did you know: Did you know that Japanese animation is called anime and Japanese comics are called manga?
----

I only watch the new episodes I really like it considering it's over 7 years old. I'm a DBZ fan like the other 100,000 odd people who watch it making it one of Cartoon Networks most watched program.

A great anime especially now as it's starting to get better. Sometimes it does linger on abit.

My favourite bit would have to be umm Vegeta's pink shirt scene and another scene that hasn't been show yet.

For those people that don't like DBZ, if you don't like it then what do you watch on Cartoon Network, Power Puff Girls? Ed Edd and Eddy?

Personally I'll stick to the show that has all the killing and fighting not some kiddies show.

If that's so why does the US Cartoon Network have an "adult swim" (check out www.cartoonnetwork.com) after 12 slot where they show more mature animes like Cowboy Bebop which has guns, violence, killing and blood making Buffy the Vampire slayer look like it belongs on CITV. The whole reason they created this slot was to show animes for 15+. To make it clear it isn't for kids to watch but "adilts" No doubt adult swim will make it's way to the UK aswell. Not to say Cowboy Bebop is anything bad like a Manga release, it's very entertaining and anyone over 15 would love it.

You can find out more information about Cowboy Bebop here http://www.ex.org/4.5/32-anime_cowboybebop.html heck you can even buy the complete series on video in the UK on yahoo auctions. http://user.auctions.shopping.yahoo.com/uk/user/digitalanimeuk?

You see Cartoon Network have realised and not forgetting, Fox Kids, Nick et al that anime is becoming a lot popular and they've noticed from the ratings of DBZ that not only is it incredibly popular that a lot of people over 16 watch it. You go to a college with a DBZ t-shirt you'll get lots of people talking to you about DBZ. So Cartoon Network being one of the top digital channels watched are not going to sit around and do nothing, they're bringing animes for the rest of us who you wouldn't consider kiddy at all.

You should watch Cartoon Network more often, Gundam Wing, lots of fighting, action, tons of people getting killed a very mature storyline that anyone under 15 will find hard to understand, DBZ with lots of blood, heads being blown off and in the next few episodes characters killing 100s of people with single attacks. Tenchi Muyo, my god you'd be nuts to call that a kiddies show, do you actually realise that Cartoon Network had to paint in swimsuits and bikinis because there's a lot of nudity? Submarine no 6 an anime movie they showed, lots of people getting killed and a storyline that even i had trouble figuring out. Defenatly not for anyone under 15. Perhaps you should watch it next time they show it. Try calling it a kiddies channel then.

If you're into anime or you'd like more information on animes and releases in the UK or even to chat to anime fans from 12-39 both male and female. You can cheque out some of the links below.

Being an anime fan is a lot more than watching anime (japanese animation), and reading mangas (japanese comics).

Lots of fans draw anime style, they might CG it in on the computer, they might do 3D anime characters. They might write fan fiction, they might make anime costumes (called cosplay) which involves a lot of work, they might do cel painting, they might create their own online manga (comic) they might create short anime shows in flash. Or even go as far as to learn animation. They create and paint model kits, they might make music videos with anime clips, there's a lot of things anime fans love to do and they all seem to be very creative and productive.

On BBC Radio Scotland they were talking about anime, a very famous studio called Ghibli that has very popular anime movies currently showing in the UK. You can hear a recording of the talk here.

http://www.moose.co.uk/userfiles/bart/ghibli_bbc_large.mp3

If Jonathan Ross can love anime it must be good, if the guy who created The Matrix which was totally inspired by the anime Ghost in the Shell (yes there's a lot of Matrix fans here but how many new that huh) absolutely loves anime not forgetting the director of titanic then it has to be real good.

Have a look at a picture my girlfriend did of a half naked catgirl, it was her first attempt at CGing.

Also there are 2 anime conventions in the UK this year perhaps you might like to go

Not forgeting Steven Spielberg, who said The Castle of Cagliostro had one of the best car chase scenes in any film and that it was one of the best adventure films of all time.
