I would like to use .htaccess to set a password for my site but I need the full pathname of the serverver ending in /htdocs where we store the files. Can anyone tell me how I find that out please?

Thanks

Hi,
This page http://freeola.com/support/webspace_cgi.php (about half way down) contains details on full server path etc.

Go careful with .htaccess as it's easy to break things!

Make sure your FTP client can view hidden files so that you can remove the .htaccess if it goes wrong...
