I personally think that this is great news. For one thing I don't particulary like the games part of Sony (though they make excellent Hi-Fis and TVs) and they have finally started to loosen up the exclusitivity (i can't spel) of their games and will let them come out on other consoles.

Oh I've got bored already, oh well...

Pretty damn high, but I know that there isn't a PC game that even touches on the graphical and technical finesse of GT3. Personally I doubt if it's possible with current hardware. It's still cheaper to buy a (or six) PS2(s).

Yea, its more like 64. And, a good one. TNT. or something. Nvinda.

1.5gig CPU. Over 500 ram. For a good game.

I dont see the point. People won't buy new pc's just to play GT3 will they?

Y'reckon wrong. The CPU and graphics cards will need to be at least twice that, I reckon.

Me rekons about.. a 32meg AGP minimum. Ay least that, and with a 700mhz+ CPU and over 256 RAM. And probably about 5gigs to install it. Ah well.

Indeed! You could buy 6 PS2s and network them together for the cost of a PC able to run it!

OI! Get out of my forum you damn dirty techdes monkey! :)

I haven't read the story yet, but stuff like this happens all the time. Sony have actually got the rights to port quite a few games from the PS2 to PC, but none of it rarely comes to anything. There's also the control issue, ar standard PC control system simply cannot compare to the precision of the DUal Shock 2, without a wheel.

Sony have announced that they have landed the rights to produce a version of GT3-Aspec for the PC, whether they will or not is up to them.

If any of you remember rightly, they were going to do this with GT2 a couple of years ago too but never did...

As for GT4, all that has been said about this title is that it will have online capabilities, real time weather, and realtime night - day lighting...

All of this from IGN/SCEJ.
