why has it taken untill now for all the decent shooter games to come out, we have barely had any we have only had things like goldeneye perfect dark timesplitters 2 and we are only just starting to get more. why dont nintendo make some.

Why has it taken Sony and Microsoft so long to develop a drop dead perfectly balanced platform game?

All the games rival competitiors have are multi-format except Perfect Dark and Halo and Nintendo have Metroid Prime anyway.

As it says Metroid Prime was the game of last year in America... and as the over excited guy in Electronic gaming monthly said: "The most fun I've had with a video game ever!"

There is a lot of competition for shooters out there, do you expect Nintendo to rush them?

Watch out for Product Number: 03, Killer 7, Starfox Armarda in the future... and besides one of the first Gamecube games was Star Wars: Rogue Leader... is that not a first rate shooter?

Timesplitters 2 is multi-format anyway...he seems more angry at the lack of exclusive first-person shooters. And i agree, good ones are few and far between. I'm a huge Shoot 'Em Up fan, i own Metroid Prime and still am not content...

Nintendo like to take there time, instead of rushing and making the game not as good as it can be.
