I know so many people used to just fast forward them, but I used to watch them, and they were often responsible for me finding a little film I didn't previously know about, and allow me to discover an excellent film that I otherwise I would have missed. Yes I saw a few turkeys too, because of an impressive trailer, but on the whole I found more good than bad because of trailers.
But now I'm a DVD man, so no trailers for me. I think all rental DVD's should have trailers on them, I'd watch them.
A better idea would be for Blockbuster video to send out a free DVD to all their members every month, with hundreds of trailers on.
Trailers rule.
Disney DVDs have trailers on..granted they are for Disney films but hey...
As a direct result of a lack of trailers to ponder and shout at, LotR nearly put me to sleep in the first hour. Then it got good so I stayed awake, but still... no trailres? I felt ripped off!
I've seen a few normal DVDs which have trailers for other films on them too. And most filmfour DVD's have forced filmfour trailers on them.
Fear not Meka, trailers haven't disappeared. They've evolved.
