Many people think of the idea of having their page on the web for everyone to see, but run away scared as anything because they have to use the little thing called 'HTML'.
Now Now dears, dont scream by the thought of using it, but im telling you it really isnt that hard to come to terms with
Maybe being a little intelligent does help when typing the long codes in the right order and then again, i did have a HTML bible to help me but come on?!? How slow do you have to be not to get it.
If you ask me HTML is one of the best things the web has ever come across ... you must admit after a couple months straight, the internet has ran itself dry.
We were told of all the things we could experience when surfing but over exaggeration just put our hopes up!
If it werent for HTML every web page would be as dry as the next, plain black font, and no pics to excite us!
But im being serious now, you can get font to blink and slide in every direction possible across the screen.
You can add pics and links to you favourite pages ... HTML is never ending.
So next time yuo hear someone mention it dont hide behind the sofa?! Give it a try .. you might surprise yourself! :)
> Heehee, go Tyla..
Apoplogies if my post causes offence, but that early in the morning with no coffee is my worst time, especially after being asked if I can create a 250 part Q&A system in ASP/XML in two days!!
Anyway, enough hint dropping!
Regarding this post...
"If you ask me HTML is one of the best things the web has ever come across ... you must admit after a couple months straight, the internet has ran itself dry. "?...
Excuse me but... HTML is the web you fool, HTML was around a lot longer than the internet was and as for the internet running itself dry... when, where? Must have missed that along with the other 81+ million sites out there!!
"But im being serious now, you can get font to blink and slide in every direction possible across the screen.

Woo... blinking!! wow, marqee... shame that a)one no longer works and b)the other is MS only... Pictures and links too... it gets better!;-)
As for HTML being never ending... Actually it is, its pre defined, non expandable and has a start and an end and is clearly defined in its DTD!!
Why did you make this post? You've pretty much made a total @rse of yourself with it...
I have to agree, if your trying for the illusive Web Forum GAD, you stand more chance finding the Holy Grail in here!!
Rob, are you ever going to let a newbie in to this forum
without flaming their first post? Even if it is a blatent GAD
attempt..
No. I wouldn't mind as much, but it really was a p***-poor
effort.
*Nods*
