"fainal fantasy 7 help --> yuffie"

i got yuffie as one of the characters for final fatasy 7 but a mate told me that somewhere along the line when you go to a town she steals all your matearia.

now heres some questions i need answering:-

is this true?
and if so is there anywhere to stop her?
what is the town?
if it can't be stopped how do i get them back?

yup its true, you get your materia back, when you reach her town but you have to complete a sub quest, its iratating but you'll enjoy it.

Yup Yuffie "might" steal all your materia, she takes it back to her home village. I think its called "Wutai" or something like that, its situated in the north western part of the map (more west than north).

It depends how far you are through the game and when you got Yuffie. I've been through it and had her steal all my materia, but the first time I played it through she stole nothing. The only difference I can remember is that I got Yuffie earlier on the second time through.

Best characters? Well obviousley you have to play with Cloud. I found accompanying him with Barret and Cid quite good, though any combination works quite well, just like FF8!

FF9 however, stoopid game - some characters are almost completely pointless......

aaaah i remember yuffie.....and yes its true she does steal your materia.......cant remember how much or how you get it back though. but its final fantasy . so it will all come good in the end
