Some 14 year old in Devon poured methylated spirit on himself and lit it, apparently in an attempt to get on Jackass. Jackass, for the uninitiated, is a programme where American jock-types do stupid stunts with skateboards and portaloos and it is hilarious. It has warnings at the beginning, end and during not to copy or try and send in stunts, but some idiots just don't get the message. As with the 'Greece 12', I have no sympathy. How long now before parents try and ban this programme?

This just goes to show that we need more warnings about the danger of fire and certain chemicals! What an idiot!! Surely he'd have just been like a normal Americam and run around naked or something? Or tried to find and kill the Blair Witch??

I heard about someone who copied the scene where they hooked meat to johnny knoxvill and had a human barbeque. In the show they had loads of protection on, flame retardent suits etc, but the guy who copied didnt. So this guy stuck meat to him, lied on a big grill trying to cook some meat, but instead almost burned himself to death.
I saw "Stilt Boxing" where two men on stilts boxed.
