Well Well then it appears that Splinter Cell the so called Xbox exclusive was infact a multi platform game from the very beginning and infact the developers actually wanted to make sure they could achieve the same level of detail on the PS2 and GC games otherwise they would have never have started the project.

Infact the PS2 version has extras, that are geared more towards the PS2 user as they demand more and have higher skill level, not my words but the actual developers comments.

Then again I can imagine that it's a hard game for Xbox users because of their poorly designed controllers.

The best one has to be the Hamlet skull.

I like the sanity effect where "Windows has performed an illegal error press CTRL ALT DELETE" etc.

The one where you walk on the ceiling is overused.

Nothing that wasn't wrong with every other iteration of the game, ie it's a load of rubbish. I suppose the original had the bonus of being fairly original, but every single version has been found by me to be utterly lacking in decent gameplay.

And before you go saying "oh it rocks" or whatever, if you give a kid a stick and a few things to smash, it will be entertained for countless hours, that doesn't necessarilly make it worthwhile entertainment.

Compare any GTA game with a FF game or a Zelda or a Mario or anything of real quality, and it just looks and plays like a load of useless pap.

Just my opinion, I'm aware that many are opposed to it, but hey, obviously I've learned nothing in 17 years of playing video games, eh?

Where? It was merely mentioned that it was unoriginal. Which it is.

More GTA bashing i see...

Lots of it in recent times - since GTA3.

Can't remember anything like this with the old "top down" versions.

What is wrong with GTA3 or VC? Is it just a few things like frame rate (much better on VC), graphic style, or control system, or is it the "entire idea" of the thing. What would you have instead?

I have'nt played Eternal Darkness - but its at the top of my shopping list of GC games to get, just as soon as I get some money together after I give my dad back the money I borrowed off him to pay for Import Animal Crossing an Metroid Prime and Zelda Wind Waker.
