FROM HEAVEN TO HEDDLU

Football returned to the dark days of the 1970s yesterday at Ninian Park as Cardiff fans, fueled with the hatred of centuries under English rule, took to the playing surface waving pitchforks and shotguns having sacrificed a young virgin to Satan in a prematch ritual.

Over 20,000 hooligans who were there ran immediatley towards Lee Bowyer and Jonathon Woodgate. The two Leeds players were attacked by Cardiff fans carrying sledgehammers. Robbie Fowler, now in intensive care, was shot twice at close range with a handgun trying to save his team mates.

Both Woodgate and Bowyer were transferred to Leeds City Hospital last night suffering from 3rd degree burns and stab wounds.

It was only when Cardiff fans brought in a armoured tank through a side enterance to the ground and tried to attack the Leeds supporters that the police acted. 5 marksmen were sent to the roof of the main stand to try and neutralise
the situation. Meanwhile the whole of the South Wales Police force swarmed into the playing area armed with semi-automatic weapons and special Police lions breeded especially for dealing with football hooligans.

Altogether 7 men were arrested by the Police.

Sam Hammam, owner of Cardiff City, was captured by Police using tranquilizer darts after a long struggle. Hammam had breached FA rules banning chairmen from standing behind goals and as police moved in to replace him in his cage in the Directors Box, he ordered his troops to seize the Police.

The brave men of the Yorkshire Police resisted this challenge and after 16 minutes, Sam Hammam was carried out of the ground, unconsious to the local police station where he was released without charge.

In other news, Manchester United supporters took to the field waving flowers following their amazing victory over Aston Villa in the game of the day.
