I have some new speakers (Creative labs surround with sub woofer) and im sat here listening to some rap with damn heavy bass, the floor is shaking, it rules :-)

The interesting thing is I only paid about £25 for these speakers and they are totally awesome! I regret all the time I had two crappy little speakers.

Does anyone know if I can hook PC speakers up to a tv/stereo with a converter or anything?

Yea I have a huge stereo system downstairs and the speakers are like 3 feet tall with built in sub's. My mates and I put them face down and played something at full volume and they literally jumped up and down. It rocked.

These are the ones I have, get them from SR. I got them from CCL computers but got them cheaper because I got a whole new system (About £600) this was my discount. CCL is only in Leeds I think so your best bet would be to get them from SR. I have looked other places online but they are about £65 upwards.

Best place to go is Richer Sounds. They do the best cheap speaker - I bought a set of Mordaunt Short speakers about 5 years ago from them and they're still going strong with unimaginable bass - even my dad was impressed, and he hates music (or "noise" as he defines it).
