"Face of PS2?"

In this months edition of 'The Official Playstation2 Magazine' it asks us to send back the form attached stating who should be seen as the face of PS2. The contenders are already given to you and all you need to do is cast your vote.

The contenders are:

-Dante (from Devil May Cry)
-Rayman
-Ratchet and Clank
-Lara Croft
-Mark Hammond (The Getaway)
-Tommy Vercetti (GTA: Vice City)
-Parrappa the Rapper
-Jak and Daxter
-Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid)
-Monkey (TimeSplitters2)

So who would you vote for? Or who have you voted for? Please let me know.

I voted for Jak and Daxter as they both have such a good character and I think they will represent PS2 well. I think the winner will probably be Lara Croft because as soon as someone sees her they immediately think of Playstation and in a few months they will think of Playstation2 when Angel of Darkness hits the shops. The other thing they might think of is Angelina Jolie for her role in Tomb Raider: The Movie. They may also think of Angelina's and Lara's bodily features!

So please tell me your thoughts on this subject and who you would vote for.

i havn't played Ratchet and Clank but evryone says it's good.

I think Sony should invent their own charactor as a mascot.

Parappa would be cool.

i'd have to say Dante or Solid Snake since they are the coolest and most popular characters on ps2, but then again Devil May Cry 2 did not really get good reviews and solid snake betrayed the ps2 by jumping to the xbox(but ps2 got them back for that by getting splinter cell).

Nope, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him on GameCube.

It would have to be Dante out of Devil may cry because he rocks

I reckon a more cartoony character would be better, so either Ratchet, Clank, Jak, or Daxter.

it's got to be from an exclusive on the PS2.
Theres no point having Solid Snake because he is apearing on xbox soon.

Lara Croft is proberly the best because of the exclusive part of it.
