"The last time we dipped into the surreal realm of Oddworld was for Xbox launch title Munch's Oddysee, a compelling, technically impressive adventure that was exclusive to Microsoft's system.
All has been markedly quiet on the Oddworld front since then, but now developer Oddworld Inhabitants has broken the silence to speak for the first time on a new addition to the universe.
"The new game will blow away anything that came before it," writes programmer Mark Lee, in a post on the developer's forums. "It's still full of the quirky OW sense of humour but at the same time a bit of a departure story-wise from previous games. We have a killer team working on this game and it's coming together pretty fast. I am working on the animation/rendering systems at the moment - the characters in the next game will look a lot more alive."
That's all we know for now, but Xbox fans can expect to hear much more as E3 approaches."
Great Stuff.
