Konami officially delayed the release of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty today, citing the addition of a "Making of" DVD and unprecedented demand for the title as reasons for the slip. March 8 is the new release date for the covert adventures of Solid Snake on PlayStation 2, a two-week stumble from the previous date of February 22. More than 1 million launch units are currently required to satiate Europe's appetite for all things Snake.

At least it's delayed so we get more for our pennies, that's gotta be worth the extra few days.

Just order it from the US and then when it comes to the UK get it there to if you want the extra disk. I know that when it comes to the UK I'm going to get it there too.

its been a long wait, way too long (what its been delayed nooooo,) i can't belive it (ahh pulls some hair out).

as long as it comes out....with the extras not too late...i'll be v happy

I'm real happy about the extras on the MGS2 game :-) I bought the box set for MGS when it came out and the series is one of my favourites :-)

I don't mind waiting cause around the release date are plenty of other PS2 titles that I really want that will keep me busy till MGS2 arrives :-)

I have mixed feelings about the delay. I am glad we have the extras, so if the delay is for them to add the extras in then thats good. But I should be getting my X-Box 6 days later, so I still wish we got MGS2 on Feb 22nd then I would have nearly 3 weeks to complete it and play on it over and over again.

I'm not pleased it's been delayed, but if it means we get a better product at the end of it we shouldn't grumble.

I have just pre-ordered this from sr tonight, can't wait!!

These things get out so fast...

We'll try to bring it out sometime around march, but maybe a little earlier, depends how long it takes.
