The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
As mentioned elsewhere in this forum, older games can sometimes be better and more playable than new ones, and having a budget range lets more people explore those earlier classics. Also, more people will have already played the older games and anyone wishing to buy them should have a good idea of how good the game is, either from friends or from places like this. Special Reserve also help in this respect, with prices of older games far lower than the new ones. Take the N64; Wipeout 64 and Space Station Zero are both £9.99 and worth every penny, the Dreamcast has Revolt and Trickstyle for the same price, especially good for the latter.
Getting back to the first point, Sega will hopefully do well out of this, as will many people who missed out the first time. No, it's not original, it's good!
