Wouldn't real virtual Reality be cool! O.K, so far we have those cool little goggle things for the PS2, but how effective are they? They make thinks more realistic, more fun, and more exciting, but they aren't really that advanced! VR exists in a way in the Sega Arcade Game - Police 24/7 - You have to actually move about to hide from other gun-men, but even that isnt the full idea of Virtual Reality. If you combine the 2 you then have partial VR, it requires you to properly interact via whole body movement and it provides a realistic environment in sound and vision. Next we need feeling, but how long will that be until they deelop that effectively. Maybe using eletrical pulses you could manufacture a sort-of environment for feeling and touch. The fact is that until people start intervening with brain impulses Vr will never be that good. I think if you want to play a game that is fun, and gets the adrenaline running, but also requires your physical self then you will have to go paintballing, or to Quasar (Laser Quest) But until VR is developed we will just have to gain satisfaction from our normal games. (Some of which are extremely good) I am not saying consoles and video games are bad, just not as good as VR. Hey, i can dream can't i???

Virtual Reality wont be as cool as reality, simply because, it's trying to recreate what we already have. Want good experiences, save up and go paintballing, or karting, keep the games on little computers............

You actually have to move around in Police 24/7. Wow!!! I never knew that!!! Oh my god. Can you become my new worship god please. Did you know that Nintendo are soon to release the Virtual Boy, a console which will be way better than the PlayStation. Remember, you heard it from me!!! Heh heh :)
