Although they've still got this stupid cheats DVD instead of a proper one with reviews etc on it. And it's "No, 2" meaning they intend to carry this on.
On the upside, there's a save for PES2 which changes the name to the proper ones. Not sure how it works, but probably worth a look.
Anywho, the main story is for Soul Caliber 2 - the new and secret characters (Heichachi and Yoshimitsu are there, if you didn't know). It looks might purdy.
There a big ol' review of Tenchu 3 - 92% doncha know.
And DMC2 got *gulp* 82%. Apprently it's lost the feel of the original, the tension and looks worse (?).
And MGS:Substance got 78%, it's better than Sons of Liberty, but still nothing overly exiting. VR missions, Snake Tales (snake on the tanker) and Alternative Mission are extra.
Meh.
And ... as l expected, Primal didn't do too well. It had that kind of feel to it - 69% (oh, er)
Time Crisis 3's got a chuck there.
There's also news of Dark Chronicle - the sequal to Dark Cloud, which was dissapointing, has gone all anime cel-shaded and has ditched all the annoying ideas from the original and enhaced the good ones.
And the new Fear Effect - Inferno.
YES!
MORE LESBOS!
Huzzah!
Some more Slinter Cell news.
And a new Resi Evil Gun-suvivor only different, can be played in 3rd person as well. Plus it's got the zap thing from the GC - to swap characters during the game at will.
There's some more news on FF-X2. There's a piccie of some bloke, who's blonde, with a few of the weird hair bits like Seymour had - very interesting.
There's also a piccie of Yuna singing into a mic. Ooo-Kayyy.
And ... wahoo! The job system from FF5 is back in play. Best. News. Ever.
The 'Play 100 Awards' take up a big chunk. The top 10 games ever (out of 100) , PS2 and PSX are a follows, voyted by readers:
10 - Castlevania:Symphony of the Night - PSX
9 - Resi Evil - PSX
8 - Ridge Racer - PSX
7 - ICO - PS2
6 - Timesplitters2 - PS2
5 - GT - PSX
4 - PES2 - PS2
3 - FF7 - PSX
2 - MGS - PSX
And...
1 - GTA:VC.
No suprises there then.
Glad ICO made it in, and FF7. Never played Castlevania, don't like GT.
And there's some guy ranting on how Fifa's better than PES.
Which made me laugh.
A lot.
The fool.

*sighs*
And I quote "RUSH - brilliant story line with passoinate sex, enjoy the rush"
House of sleeping beauties 3 "Nubile beauties are drawn into their partner's fantasies making them real"
How classy.
There's also an ad for battleorders.co.uk which sells swords and stuff. There's some quality fantasy daggers on there.
Ooohh, pointy.
This mag rules ;-)
It's just cheaper to do a cheats thing, and they'll get more profit.
But I'd rather they put the price up 10p or something, and give us something substantial.
There's an advery in there for an import place - dvdboxoffice.com - which has a few games there at cheap prices. If you import, that is.
In the same ad, there also a cool little gadget - a PS2 screen that clips onto the top of your game pad. Looks quite smart.
Aside from that, good issue.
