It's official, Jeff Tweiten and John Guth of Seattle, WA are the first two guys to be waiting for "Star Wars: EPISODE II Attack of the Clones."
Waiting, outside of the Cinerama movie theatre in Seattle, WA are two dedicated Star Wars fans who will spend over four months on the streets of Seattle, dedicating their lives to a cultural phenomenon that has inspired their hearts and instructed their values throughout their lives. Jeff Tweiten was first to arrive on January 1st, 2002 and was soon accompanied by his friend John Guth.
This four and a half month period will be the longest wait in known record books, for two folks to wait together for a movie. When asked why, "we love Star Wars and I want to create sort of a life art project out of this that can be displayed once this is over with, " says Jeff Tweiten. Jeff continues, "Over the course of the next four months we plan on capturing our adventures and experiences on the streets of Seattle with our cameras and journals. What we do with it after it's all done with...ask us then."
The entire concept was masterminded by Jeff over a year ago, "I wanted to wait in line for two years, but just couldn't do it, so I figured what a great way to start off a new year." John concluded, "when Jeff mentioned the idea to me a year ago, I have to admit, I too thought if was off the wall, but after convincing me and seeing the fun in store I just had to join him."

Can anyone see exactly what these tools look like already?
Look at their stupid faces and stupid hair.
They give Star Wars fans a bad name.
My only hope is that sub-zero temp sets in and they get to experience Hoth for real.
Rubbish, no-job virgins.
Dear god that was a joke
"Straight after the movie I bet they will be online, typing Worst episode ever!"
Hmmm, oh, I very much doubt that. Even if it is the worst film ever made...
> Star wars will probably be rubbish, unlike episode 1.
Very true.
as for john and jeff - very sad indeed! had to be sci-fi nuts oh and what a surprise they r yanks too!
I wonder if this story will be in SR's news section. They had that lord of the rings article.
Now that's sad. I only waited a month for LotR..
It was a JOKE, people.
Firstly, they've got a link so you can donate money to them so they can continue their project...
And they've got a little link at the top saying "Join us or die"
Now THAT'S geeky.
...Hmmm. I'll probably keep track of this, and watch their slow decent into insanity.
What if they have to go to the toliet and someone steals their place?
