Ever heard of them, well they are still around to this day, infact my brother aboout 4 weeks ago went and watched them in concert, and I own (I think) near all of their albums.
What a band, they are amongst my favorite. Sadly, I dont think they were ever that well known over here in the UK, a prog Rock band with such a strange name. Yes.
Infact everytime I go to answer the question 'What music are you into' and my answer is 'Floyd, Yes...' They keep saying Yes? and obviously they think I am just having a laugh when I repeat 'Yes'.
Anyways, back to the point, if you see an album called "Union" by the band called "Yes". Getcha wallet out, and buy it. I like it, and that is all that matters.
So everyone. How is the Pink Floyd collection coming along? Anyone getting into them? Well, don't bother buying Echoes. Buy the individual albums, echoes doesnt offer by any means a good amount of Floyd for the money.
Get 'Dark Side of The Moon' and 'The Wall' and probably 'Division Bell' and oh yeah not forgetting 'Meddle'.... just get all of them.
And the last but not least group would be Jon & Vangelis. With my favorite track being 'Friends of Mr Cairo'. HOW THE HELL CAN YOU GO WRONG. THEY HAVE REN & STIMPY IN THAT SONG.
Just, go buy some of that, its amazingly excellent!

They're very well known un the UK and have been for years.
I went through a YES period during my final years at school and through college (88-92) but haven't listened to much since.
