I'm talking Digimon World on PS1. I'm raising happy, healthy Digimon with good stats, taking them to the toilet on time, letting them beat up lots of critters in the Native Forest, yet when the time comes for my Rookie to digivolve to Champion level my cute little buddy turns into a revolting green blob that resembles Slimer from The Real Ghostbusters and is generally pants.
