how GC broadband will work? I intended to try and connect it to my current cable mode (I'm with Telewest) but it only has one slot for 1 ethernet cable.

How can I plug both in and how much will it cost?

If it works, then that'll be OK by me.

surely there will exist some form of adapter to allow for both a PC and GC to be connected to a broadband service at once...?

Surely....

That £5.99 thing is just the subscription fee for Phantasy Star Online... I'm not sure if they'll have a seperate fee for each game (God, I hope not...) or just one lump sum... either way I'd guess there'll be some kind of change from that fee when more games are released...

I'll be able to use it fine with BT Broadband (and the same should go for Freeola broadband) - it would be a case of connecting the GameCube INSTEAD of the current online device, namely my PC.

I think I read off Nintendo.co.uk that they will be charging something like £5.99 per month for the service but you get the first month free or something.

I might consider online gaming with my 'Cube once it has been reduced to...nothing like the Dreamcast's internet fees, but I don't have the time for online gaming at the moment so there's no point in me paying for it.

*Hopes that the broadband adapter will be able to connect to PC broadband stuff so that he doesn't need to pay out monthly fee's*
