The fifty first state is an interesting film as its part action, part comedy and part football. the film is based around two themes a wonder drug created by samuel l jackson and a man u v liverpool match. Its amusing most of the way through and has some entertaining characters. Highlights are the flare scene, the animal lab and SJ afro in the opening sequence. Robert carlyle is impressive through out as the footy hooligan.
