dunno, i dont really mind though because it will have saved me £40

i don't think it can live up to the hype but it still will be a great game, same rule apply's to films like starwars ep1.

I think you are right there has been very few games that have lived up to the hype that was caused by the succes of the original

In this case I think that it will live up to the hype because of all the efort that went into making the game. If all game makers put in as much efort as the ones of MGS2 then the gameing world would be a gaming heaven.

Well, if it does live up to the expectations then it will deservedly take it's place in the "best games ever" catagory.

Any game that can ever live up to the hype the likes that has been surrounding MGS2 is one hell of a masterpiece. Maybe there's been a little too much made of MGS1 resulting in a complete flop for MGS2?

Well, I doubt it, but it's still going to be a defining moment in gaming history if Snake can match the hype.
