I was wondering as the xbox is going online would it be worth selling my playstation 2 for an xbox cos sounds really gd playing online. give me your views cheere John.

I think a lot really depends on whether you have Broadband yet, and whether you can afford to get it if you don't already have it, because thats the only way you can play on Xbox Live! , ever. The PS2 will be able to use dial up 56k or broadband.

If you have plenty of games you like for the PS2 then it's a bit daft selling just for Xbox Live when Sony will have their own online games, having said that Xbox Live is great fun and more games will soon be out; Mech Assault, Ghost Recon and Moto GP are the best at the moment whilst Unreal needs the patch to solve issues with it, and Whacked is pretty lame, I'm told NFL Fever 2003 won't work on Live yet.

Essentially how much do you like your PS2 and its games, and can you access Broadband, are the main things to influence your decision.

well Sony are releaseing their own Online features later on this year but whether or not it's going to be any good it another matter.

Nope, as soon as a game that appeals to me comes along then i'll give a try.

Unreal appealed to me until I played the PC version and found out it's a total skankuss. Halo 2's lookin good though so when that comes out i'll give it a go.

Depends if you have broadband or intend on getting broadband, also if the games appeal to you.

Myself I think online gaming is rather dull to be honest.
