As usual, it's one of those 'most people get it and a few people don't' trick things...

They still make you laugh when they actually work though...
____________________________________________________________

· Think of a number from 1 to 10

· Multiply that number by 9

· If the number is a 2-digit number, add the digits together

· Now subtract 5

· Determine which letter in the alphabet corresponds to the number you ended up with (example: 1=a, 2=b, 3=c,etc.)

· Think of a country that starts with that letter

· Remember the last letter of the name of that country

· Think of the name of an animal that starts with that letter

· Remember the last letter in the name of that animal

· Think of the name of a fruit that starts with that letter

Are you thinking of a Kangaroo in Denmark eating an Orange?

Letter D!

D!

Mum got France somehow...

She no good at maths!

This is another one that works most of the time, but it's purely down to luck:

Choose a number from the list:

1
2
3
4

Why did you choose 3?

Yeah. i picked 2 first and then ended up with 4, and i found it hard to think of a country that began with D. So i tried with 3, and then i ended up with D again. This is what made me remember that i've seen it before, stil they're very clever and cool.

I had to think of about a D name for a while and I got Denmark-Kangaroo-Orange.

Heh, I guess in the first step when it says multiply a number by 9 everyone picks 1 because it's the least work.

Very cool!:-D

We'll, with my 14 years of experience living in this world, i'll try and explain how it works. If you multiply any number that is below 10 by 9, the answer's digits will always add up to 9, so taking away 5 will always leave 4. And to think of it, there aren't many countries that start with the letter K. Next, the obvious answer to an animal that begins with K is a kangaroo. It's still a really cool thing, just pretty obvious to work out how it works. The ones where you guess a number and then add and subtract a lot and end up with a certain number still rule.
